This project consists of supporting and developing the capacities of around forty young men and women in an equal manner from rural and urban areas of four peripheral municipalities of Sousse (Kondar, Kalâa Kebira, M’saken, Kalâa Sghira). The objective is to involve them more in public affairs and municipal work in particular. The project includes a diversified and intensive training program based on the “scout method” and learning by doing to provide young people with the skills they need to be able to mobilize their municipality around projects they wish to carry out. The project plans to end with the establishment of a local observatory of young people from 3 municipalities to strengthen their involvement in municipal decision-making.
This project is led by the association Scout Sans Frontières in partnership with the French Institute of Tunisia and with the support of the French Embassy in Tunisia_Department of cooperation and cultural action.
